Ester also likes the fact that Shared Ownership is kinder to her bank balance than renting. “My total monthly costs (from Shared Ownership) are now cheaper than the rent I was paying previously. Having purchased a 35 per cent share, I am focusing on buying a larger share of the property and staircasing towards achieving full ownership in the future.”
