Thinking of buying a home with Shared Ownership?

Whether you're just exploring or ready to move forward, this guide walks you through the journey from enquiry to reservation. It’s honest, easy to follow, and made to help you feel confident every step of the way.

How to enquire, view & apply

Found a home you love or want to learn more? Here’s how to get started:

1. Explore your options

Start by browsing our available homes for Shared Ownership. You’ll find family houses in the countryside and modern apartments in vibrant city locations.

πŸ“ Tip: Visit our Shared Ownership Unpacked guide or listen to our podcast to understand how the scheme works.

2. Register your interest

Once you’ve found a home you like, click Register your Interest on the property listing page. This lets our sales team know you're keen.

πŸ“§ You’ll get updates about viewings, launch dates and next steps by email.

3. Create your online account

When you're ready to take the next step, create an account on our website. This unlocks your personalised application dashboard.

  • Manage your viewings and communication preferences
  • Submit your full Shared Ownership application

πŸ”’ Creating an account doesn’t commit you to buying - it simply opens the door to moving forward.

4. Do an initial financial assessment and book a viewing (if available)

If homes are ready to view, you’ll be able to book an appointment through our online viewing calendar.

Before booking a viewing, you’ll need to complete a free eligibility and financial assessment. This is carried out by an independent mortgage advisor from our panel.

A member of our friendly sales team will get in touch to confirm your booking.

πŸ—οΈ If homes aren’t available to view yet, you’ll stay on the interest list and be notified when they are.

  • Your household and employment
  • Where you live and work
  • Your income, savings and deposit
  • Any financial commitments (e.g. credit cards, loans)

πŸ’‘ Tip: You can also call or email us directly if you prefer.
