If you’re looking for the best in young up-and-coming artists, then this is the gallery for you. Jari Lager founded Union Gallery in 2007. It not only showcases the works of emerging artists but it also represents a handful too. If you’re in the area, we’d also recommend heading down to Vyner Street, which has a variety of galleries on it.

This Bethnal Green local celebrates a wide roster of international art. In order to see these magnificent masterpieces you need to find your way in. Head to the non-descript grey door and be transported to Narnia. This non-profit space also leases affordable studio space to 140 artists.

Founder and curator, Freedman, has certainly earned his artistic stripes having worked alongside Damien Hirst to launch the Brit Art phenomenon. Now his gallery, situated in a minimalist white box in Hoxton, represents a small number of must-see international artists.

This beautiful gallery in hip Rivington Place was founded by Iniva and Autograph ABP. It is committed to exhibiting works of diverse and engaging contemporary art and photography. Amazingly, this was the first new-build public space in London since the Hayward opened in 1968.

This avant-garde non-profit art institution can be found in Hoxton, close to the Islington/De Beauvoir Town border. Parasol Unit showcases the work of thought-provoking artists. It’s worth visiting for the space alone, which was renovated by the Italian architect, Claudio Silvestrin. The gallery often hosts educational programmes for children, young people and adults.
