If you’re looking to get those thinking caps on, then fly down to the famous Farnborough Air Science Museum. Learn everything that there is to know about aviation and all its glorious history in full. Located just adjacent to Farnborough’s airfield, the museum houses a huge collection of both models and real satellites, simulators and other unique material. It also offers guided tours around its historic aviation quarter that is not normally open to the public for viewing.

Build a Fort

It wouldn’t be a proper rainy day at home if building a fort wasn’t up for discussion, something in our opinion, that is for children and adults alike. So, grab the pillows, blankets, and duvets, get those creative juices flowing and start building.
