Spooky Halloween Activities in Surrey
As autumn approaches, we’ve put together a list of activities to celebrate Halloween in Surrey. Read on for our spooky favourites:
Garson’s Esher Pick Your Own Farm is the largest pumpkin patch in Surrey, with an enormous 155 acres of PYO fields containing pumpkins and plenty of other vegetables. Over at Crockford Bridge Farm, in Addlestone, they’ve got pumpkin carving, games, and a pumpkin market (Crockford’s Corner) where purchasing pumpkins is available without needing to book. There’s also plenty of photo ops for an autumnal Instagram post.
Ignite at National Trust’s Polesden Lacey
A new after-dark experience is coming to the Edwardian gardens at the National Trust’s Polesden Lacey gardens this autumn. As days shorten and the air becomes crisp, at Polesden Lacey, in Dorking, visitors can wander between flickering flames and majestic trees within an atmospheric soundscape. The spooky trail has been specially designed for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
For 20 years now, Fright Nights at Thorpe Park have preyed on people’s darkest fears and nightmares. This October, the UK’s scariest (and award-winning) Halloween event returns for a fearful celebration. 2021 is set to feature a new incredible fire and light display, spine-chilling scare zones and the infamously terrifying scare mazes.
Tremblay’s Charity Halloween Party
Tremblay’s Charity Halloween Party, in aid of charity Alex’s Wish, is a spooky ball, with fun prizes, held at The Guildford Cricket Pavilion on Saturday, 30th October 2021. Alex’s Wish was set up to eradicate Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, an aggressive form of muscular dystrophy that affects one in every 3,500 boys born.
Halloween at Fishers Farm Park
Fishers Farm Park, in Wisborough Green, is hosting a week of spooky fun for all of the family this October half term. If you’re not the Halloween type, there’s plenty of other activities for all ages to enjoy and keep the entire family entertained.
