Why should I live in Horsham?

Why should I live in Horsham?

During May we will be giving you an area guide to Horsham, discussing why you would want to live there, some of the best restaurants, and what’s coming up over the summer.

So, why live in Horsham? What makes it so special?

In 2006, a Channel 4 programme The Best and Worst Places to Live in the UK named Horsham the second best place to live in the UK and in 2013, it was named in the top 20 places to live in Britain by the Halifax Quality of Life Survey.

Horsham is a historic town in West Sussex, renowned for its award winning floral displays, high street and independent retailers, cafes and restaurants.

Horsham, a thriving market town, hosts market days on Saturday and Thursday, offering local produce, arts and crafts.

There is an abundance of restaurants, both well known chains and small independents (read more about some of Horsham’s best restaurants later in the month), and a wealth of homely country pubs.

One of the best parts has to be its excellent location. There are regular trains to Victoria and London Bridge, taking around an hour. Or if you fancy a trip to the beach you can be in Brighton in around 30 minutes, or Gatwick Airport in 20 for something further afield.

If you’re interested in living in Horsham we currently have two great developments. Register your interest in Kilnwood Vale or Wickhurst Green.
